Bermuda Dunes is situated between Palm Desert & La Quinta, close to I-10. The city's name originated from the Bermuda Dunes country club, a golf course community first opened in 1962 and the former site of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. There are about 10 other communities made up of condos, single family homes & equestrian estates all within the 5-mile radius. The city includes Bermuda Dunes Airport & Christian Schools of the Desert.
